Tired
It’s been a month since i updated my blog. Reason being I GOT NO TIME TO DO SO. Recently, I’ve been busy with my school’s work. The amount of things to do is terrible. Actually I am referring to Academic Writing. There are things to do for every lesson. But what can I do but to ren ming. Ha Ha. I am glad that I am still able to cope with it for the time being… One more assignment due this week. Jia you for me.
Anyway, projects in uni are mostly individual. Not that bad because I can do my work at my own time ^^
First Day of School
Today is my first day of school. The first day of school, I went to the wrong classroom for class. There’s a few guys who are as blur as me. We was wondering why was there so few people in class when the class was about to start. So one of the guys went to check the other class with the same room number. Most of the students were in that classroom as well as the professor. Anyway, we went to a seminar room with the same class number instead of a classroom. This is so confusing.
We were separated into groups randomly for class activites. Perharps, for the next few weeks, we are gonna read articles and have some discussion in class. There’s already one class activites to be done for the very first lesson. That’s not the way. haha. Kinda lazy to do work right now. But we have to get it done by Wednesday because there’s another lesson on that day.
The prof who’s teaching this mod (Academic Writing) is Marianne Teo. She is pretty friendly for the first lesson. Not sure about the following lesson. haha
New place, New Environment
No more chance to slack like the last 5 months because I AM STARTING SCHOOL TOMORROW. Happy or sad? Happy because I am going to a new environment meeting new people. Sad because I need to study. Anyway, my timetable looks quite fine. I have one free day which is Thursday.
Tomorrow’s class start at 10:15am and ends at 11:45am. It’s some writing mods and I don’t really like writing because my English isn’t that good. Perharps I need to improve on my English. No idea how.
Got to sleep soon else tomorrow I cannot wake up. Goodnight 
SMU Convocation
Today, I went for SMU Convocation. It’s actually a welcome ceremony for all Freshmens. We were seated according to the FTB group but I did not go for the camp neither did Stephy, my SIS camp mate. It’s kinda lonely sitting at the guest area. But fine, it’s ok. Anyway, convocation lasted for 3 hours.

After convocation, walked over to Marina Square to meet lao gong. We simply just walked around but not doing any shopping. Reason being, we were not that hungry for dinner. Actually, we decided to go N.Y.D.C for dinner at Suntec but it closed down. Pretty sad huh. So we went to Waraku for dinner. The management there was terrible because there’s only 2 waitress/waiter down there serving. Really bad. There’s something that I won’t forget to mention. Waiter from Waraku doesn’t like to refill my ice water. They can refill everyone’s ice water and forget about mine. Why? So sick.
Oh yes, dessert time. We went to Millenia Walk for yogurt ice cream. What I can say about the yogurt ice cream is ….. Bravo. It taste really good but it melt very fast. Even if it melts, it still taste as good because you can drink it like yogurt drink. Do drop by and try. Check out their website for more outlets.

A Great Day
Monday was a public holiday. Went out with lao gong for shopping as well as movie at Marina Square. He booked the ticket in advanced because it’s a public holiday and for sure ticket will be sold out if we bought it over there.
This movie cost $13 for each ticket because of the 3D specs. I supposed that specs is really expensive. Personally, I think that UP is not that nice. I am not sure if I was tired that day or was it the show that is boring that almost cause me to fall a sleep. Lao gong also almost fall a sleep. Maybe it’s the show. But I can say that their 3D effect is good.
Before movie, we went to Aston for lunch at Suntec City. The queue was rather long but waited for 5 minutes to be seated. The price there is quite cheap. Maybe that is the reason why a lot of people is queuing for it. But it’s not that fantastic.
We went back home for a rest before going out for dinner. Head to Daimaru for Marutama Ra-Men. It’s the nicest Ra-men as compared to other. Japanese style ra-men. It comes with soup and noodle only. Nothing else yet its nice. Normally, I don’t one whole bowl of noodle by myself instead I share with his mum. This time round, I ate it by myself and I felt so full. Their Shoyu egg is nice. Must order.
My sister bought a toy poodle named Harley. He is only 2 months old and rather small in size. When he don’t move, he really looked like a toy. He has some skin problem but I hope that he will get well real soon.
Last Day of Work
Friday was my last day of work because the following, I will be pretty busy with school stuff such as orientation briefing, camp, etc. Anyway school will start in 3 weeks time. New chapter of life, new study environment. Hopefully I am able to adapt to the environment fast.
Friday was also Li Xiang’s last day. Therefore, we had a fare well lunch at long beach. Thank you so much. I enjoy working in that environment as well as working with the staff in the office. Not only that, I also got to learn a lot of things from them

I went to collect my Pre enrollment medical report for SMU. Lao gong specially took leave to accompany me to collect my medical report. But I scare the shit out of him. Ke Ke. Tell you nothing will happen but you don’t believe me. But anyway, thank you so much for spending your day being my driver. I appreciate it.
Having the urge to eat “shake shake” fries, we went to Macdonald for breakfast. Shake shake fries is so nice. Why can’t day have it all year long? If there’s not shake shake fries, lao gong will create his own. Right?
Lao gong sent me to driving centre after breakfast because my practical lesson started at 2.10pm. 3 more lessons including my auto car lesson and I am done with all the driving courses. Today’s lesson seems to be pretty fast. Guess it’s because the instructor kept talking to me but of course he did point out what mistakes I have made. At the end of every lesson, I will ask “So how’s my driving?”. They will say not bad and there’s a chance that I will pass my TP test for the first attempt. I hope so and I really hope so.
This week will be pretty busy for me because I have to go down for pre camp briefing in SMU, go for verification in SMU as well as driving. Ma fan.
Anyway, we will be going to KL this Saturday and will be back on Sunday. It’s just a very short trip for me to shop down there. Ha Ha.

My 20th Birthday
This year, I celebrated 3 times for my birthday. One with my family, the second one with lao gong’s family and the third one in Desaru. Cut 3 different cakes at different location. The last 2 cakes were a surprise to me because I didn’t know it at all. Thank you very much for celebrating my birthday. I love it and I appreciate it. On the 18th of July, my mum was in great pain giving birth to me. So I shall not forget to thanks my beloved mummy for bringing me into this world. I love you, mum and dad :] Thank you everyone for the wishes as well as the birthday gift.

Let me talk about my experience for the Desaru Trip. I think the experience isn’t really good because Desaru has turned into a mess. It’s no longer as clean as 10 years ago. The beach is very dirty. When you see the sand, you don’t feel like walking any further. So you can imagine how bad it is. There’s tour guide bring us around. We went to the fruit farm, ostrich farm. herbal farm, and also shops for those aunties to buy something. What I can say is that those aunties really bought a lot of things. For every shops they enter, confirm and for sure that they will buy something. The things they bought can be found in Singapore. That is why we did not get anything.
The ostrich farm was quite interesting because I have never hold an ostrich egg in hands before. The egg is freaking big. The small ostrich is damn cute. So small. We get to see ostrich at different age. 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, etc. Anyway, the ostrich farm is open by a Singaporean.

Another interesting trip is the firefly trip. This is the very first time I see firefly. It’s very beautiful. We took a boat to those very dark area so that we can see the firefly. Lots and lots of firefly. When they gathered around the trees, it looked like some Christmas tree lighting. Pretty wasted that we can’t capture the scene because it’s too dark.
I think the fruit farm was rather disappointing. I thought that fruit farm fruits are nice but apparently not. It’s totally opposite. That’s why it’s called a buffet because all the bad ones are used for buffets. So its not worth going. I ate the mango and seems like that mango drink too much water that it tasted so dilute. The durians taste bad too. I think its taken out from the refrigerator because it’s cold. No no to this fruit farm. Haha
Let’s take a look at the best hotel in Desaru. The room is quite big but their hotel facilities seems to be below average.

Driving and Studies
Haven been blogging for a period of time because I am a little too lazy to do so. I have completed stage 2 of my driving moving on to stage 3 the next lesson which is tomorrow. Booked my traffic police test on the 3rd of September. Therefore, I am gonna chiong for my practical lesson. I think I am able to complete in time. Hopefully, I won’t get a sucky instructor again. Sucky instructor: Talk throughout the whole lesson and never even teach a single thing.
I am gonna start school soon. Pretty sad. School again. School will start on the 17th of August but I have to go for orientation and going for my school camp. Hopefully it will be fun. SMU school fee is so expensive >.< but what to do. I am going to spend 4 years of my life in SMU. Got to start choosing the module I want. I guess will be pretty busy when school starts. I am mentally prepared and I am gonna survive through this 4 years. Jia you for myself.
Enjoy before school starts. Ha Ha. I am going to desaru this weekend with lao gong and his family. WooHooo. But I won’t be able to celebrate my birthday with my family on the exact date. After this trip, we are going to KL. I have never been to KL. I wanna go shopping ^_^ Enjoying life
